Pastor Scott Thomas (the Pastor of the Church Planting branch here at Mars Hill Church) recently posted a blog concerning what J.I. Packer has had to say about the issue of Calvinism. I highly recommend you go to read it. Packer describes the primary one point of Calvinism that the five points of Calvinism are seeking to explain and uphold.
